Why is my history constantly deleting itself despite having settings for them to be saved?
For the past month and a half my browsing history has been deleting itself after 24 hours. I have repeatedly gone through different combination of History settings and yet the problem remains. Today i noticed the browsing history hasn't been saved at all except for the very most recent by which I mean the past hour. I have repeatedly installed and uninstalled Firefox but like i stated previously the problem remains.

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.
If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.
I uninstalled my CCleaner AND have checked my firefox settings repeatedly. They are always set to "Remember History" however the problem persists. In fact the problem has gotten worse and NOW the history deletes itself every time I close the browser, despite not having that setting selected. It also deletes itself after every hour... anything?
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
- You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
- To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Deselect: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
Since I didn't mention this before I will now I always have custom settings set however when i select options and go to the privacy settings it ALWAYS goes back to just Remember History. Because i wasn't clear i'll state it again in the past and currently I have tried EVERY combination of custom setting there is i do NOT use "Permanent Private Browsing" and i do NOT have any history deleting selections.
So my problem was just going to be ignored??? It still exists you know? Even after repeatedly install and uninstalling updates...
