don't know the name of it but a toolbar at the top of the window has disappeared after I restarted Firefox. It contained add-ons such as Download Helper and I don't know how to get it back. Please help. Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry I meant the "Save Complete" add-on, not Download Helper.

Be sure "Add-on Bar" is checked (click on "Add-on Bar" to check or un-check)

Not related to your question, but...
You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:
- Plug-in check --> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
- Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in: Installing (or Updating) the Shockwave plugin with Firefox
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape: Installing/Updating Adobe Reader in Firefox
- Shockwave Flash (Adobe Flash or Flash): Updating Flash in Firefox
- Next Generation Java Plug-in for Mozilla browsers: Installing or Updating Java in Firefox
Thank you for your reply but Add-on bar is already checked.
Sorry, I mis-read; I thought your question said at the bottom.
Be sure that your "Navigation Bar" is checked. If you created a new toolbar and placed icons into that toolbar, check that one (you named the new toolbar when you created it, if applicable). Check any other toolbars that you want displayed.

That's checked too. I'm beginning to think that the Save Complete add-on added a new toolbar of its own when I installed it and that because it is incompatible with Firefox 10 therefore the toolbar won't load anymore.
Right click on the toolbar, select "Customize" and then click on "Restore default set" to see if that works.
Thanks for the reply. I've already done that.
Incompatible Add-ons can sometimes cause quirky problems, even when using "Add-on Compatibility Reporter". Remove that Add-on and restart Firefox to see if that resolves the problem.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
