Question on page automatically reloading
Hi -
What does the bar at the top of the page mean that says "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading"?
I then click "allow" but the message remains at the top of the page.
Is there a way of turning this feature off?
Thank you, Randy

Hi -
Thank you very much for your assistance - worked perfectly!
Randy
I'd like to allow certain pages to reload (a local weather page, for instance that updates its weather reports every few minutes), but not all. Or, to separate redirecting and reloading. They're two different animals. I got the sirefef.x trojan last week and had to replace my hard drive when a page redirected me, but I want to allow certain pages to reload.
Just my $0.02 (or maybe it's gone up 40% now with the Fed's Quantitative Easing. :-\
Thanks,

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
