Currently to achieve basic bookmark functionality I have to use both the Library and Bookmarks Menu toolbar buttons. Since this is asinine I'm assuming I'm missing something.

I would like help enabling either of the following to fix this:

Library, make it actually show bookmarks when clicking the "bookmarks" button and put the recent bookmarks in a folder.

Bookmarks Menu button, I need this menu to have an option to bookmark the tab I'm currently on and enable a folder to view my recently bookmarked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit:

Can I make it so the Bookmarked (via star) dialog defaults to the most recent option instead of unsorted?

Also is having a recent bookmarks section in the Bookmarks Menu just not possible?

You can create a so called smart bookmark that shows the result of a query in the Bookmarks Menu folder in a drop-down list.

Name: Recently Bookmarked Location: place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1

Does not the Star in the Address Bar bookmark pages for you ?

Right clicking a Tab will show menu and Bookmark all Tabs as a Option.

There is a Button called Show Side Bar, 1 click and you have all you want in front of you, actuall y to the left, though might be able to move it to the right.....

As for the other ways you wanted it is not possible at this time.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

You can get rid of the Bookmarks button that basically only displays the Recently Bookmarked items. See if this meets your needs.

  • Click on the 57 library icon library icon and go to bookmarks > bookmarking tools > add bookmarks menu to the toolbar.
  • Then you click the Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon that's newly appearing on the toolbar, you'll get to the same bookmarks menu like in earlier versions...
