Email is sending old emails and adding today's date
In the last week, I have been receiving old emails I sent months ago to myself. They were photos of my son's senior photos. Then today, I received an email from a vendor we bought trees from back in February. It looked as if we were inquiring about the date our trees would be shipped and it had 7/26 date on it. We sent that email back in MARCH. I talked to roadrunner to see if our email was hacked and they said no. They said their servers is fine and that this might be a Thunderbird issue.
Is there any known issue of old emails getting resent with the current date?

My gut feeling is this is more to do with McAfee that Thunderbird or TWC. They sure do make a mess of email.
I am however at a loss. You account is POP. This only fetches email from the inbox. But you are saying your sent mail is appearing in your inbox. Truly weird and I can only assume something with McAfee or TWC.
Yes, its resending sent mail and I am getting random replies back from people who think I am re-inquiring or re asking an old question because it puts the current date on it.
oh well. thanks for taking a look.
Do you have anything in the outbox folder? pending sent mail goes there. if there was an issue perhaps with the folder getting corrupt they might send over and over. but if it is empty I really have no ideas.
nothing in the outbox. But it also hasn't happened yet again, so fingers crossed!
