Hi there! I totally understand your frustration, and I'm here to help. It's not uncommon to feel worried when tabs seem to disappear after an update. To get your tabs back, try this: Open Firefox on your iOS device, then tap the square icon at the bottom right corner to view your tabs. If you don't see them there, tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom right, then tap "Recent Tabs." This should show you a list of your recently closed tabs, and hopefully, you'll find your lost tabs there. If not, don't worry, sometimes tabs might not sync properly after an update. In that case, you might want to consider reaching out to Mozilla Support for further assistance. Hang in there, we're here to help you get back on track!
Same happened to me once updated to Firefox for iOS 116.1 (App Store update from 2023-08-09)!
I urgently need my more than 50 open tabs back! Few of them inactive, some in private browsing.
If you unrecoverable lost all my open tabs/data dear Mozilla, this would be the end of using Firefox on iOS. I‘m so damn angry!!!
Hi
This is something that our developers are aware of and are looking into. You can follow progress on this and add comments at:
Hi
Thank you for your patience while our developers have been looking into this matter. Please look out for an update to version 116.2 from the App Store that should stop your tabs from disappearing.
“Recently closed tabs” doesn’t help because the tabs were all open at the time of the update. Normally I think there would be an option to open the whole session again and restore all tabs if it had been forced closed, but not this time. I had a couple hundred tabs open..
I am sorry that you gave lost your tabs, but the new update should prevent this from happening again.
Forget about not happening again. I want my tabs back on IOS. Where did you put them? Are they wiped permanently? Some body out there, PLEASE help us

Got the same issue, on Firefox 117 on iOS.
