When bookmark an URL, Firefox automatically chooses the recently used folder after seconds.

Video: https://v.redd.it/i8c3tdcnq5641 I click the star button. After about 5 minutes, the "Reddit" folder, which I recently used, was chosen automatically. I changed the destination folder to "Bài viết + Hình ảnh", but an invisible ghost hand rechose the "Reddit" folder almost immediately.

Are you using Sync to sync the bookmarks?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
