keyboard cut-n-paste function doesn't work inside Firefox tabs AND if firefox is running they don't work in other programs like notepad

I have been using Firefox for years, this seems to be a NEW issue.....I cannot cut-n-paste (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V) text inside the Firefox web pages AND even with outside programs like Notepad, Wordpad and MS Word......this used to work....wierd.....if I close Firefox then the functions work in the outside programs no problem....Firefox seems to be preventing the functions from working EVERYWHERE

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.
