if i remove a password from a website will i still be able to access the website and login manually

I will save a PW and then firefox scrambles them .. it is like it is auto-generating one but I did not choose that and I will put in a PW I know and when I go back to the… (emoñe’ẽve)

Hello, It's been like....forever.....that when I log onto a sight, a window pops up asking whether if I want to save the id and password for that sight. All of a sudden, a week or so ago, all of my passwords just vanished! It has been saving them for every site that I chose to save. I would, on occasion, go in and manually delete one or some, but I have really come to depend on Firefox for saving the info. I just don't know what has happened. Any ideas on how I can remedy this? Thanks.....
