Currently I'm printing a lot. But if I want to print something, then I'm forced to print all pages which are found while I only need the first page. I tried to print in explorer (same web page) and the print options appear before I print. But it doesn't appear when I try to print in Mozilla Firefox. How can I fix this?

Hello,

Please see the support article below:

How to print web pages in Firefox

After you click the Print button you should see a Print Settings Window appear which allows you to set a page range. Does that window not appear?

more options

Yes that's the problem, that window does not appear. The problem is: the first step in your solution, doesn't work. The pop-up when I try to print doesn't appear. If I want to (as example) print the web page 3 times then I can't say 3 times because that pop-up doesn't appear. When I press print, it immediately prints. Normally a pop-up appear which I can select what printer I want, how many pages I want, etc.

Thanks for clarifying.

Please follow the steps here to reset your printer settings:

If that doesn't work please follow the instructions underneath to reset all printer settings.

I hope that helps. Let me know if not.

Does Ctrl+P open that window?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can try to rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.

Ctrl+P does not open that window. That window is exact what I want from the start.
