I'm moving away from Google and am frustrated with either a bug in Firefox 13, or perhaps a plug in. I've looked at the HTML source for the Bing's search results and don't see any issues with their anchors. This doesn't happen on every search result, but the example included has been consistently not working.

Here's the sample URL http://www.bing.com/search?q=rewriterule+match+any+sequence+of+parameters&go=&qs=bs&form=QBRE

Nope, it's still broken in safe mode, and after reviewing the other information. Firefox is simply not acknowledge the valid a href links HTML. Please try the link in the original message and tell me if you can click the first result. I cannot, consistently.

yes it is working without an issue here :-/

Well, I don't get it. I'm running version 13 on XP. What version and OS are you on?

I'm going to pass on that option, cor-el. I have too many settings, preferences, site info, etc to give that one a try. Anyway, here's an image illustrating the issue. I've selected the results and highlighted where the missing links are with red boxes. When the text isn't highlighted, it all appears correctly, but the boxed areas can't be clicked!

A reset creates a new profile and automatically imports some settings from your current profile.
Your current profile will still be there and you can use the Profile Manager to return to it.

you can also just create a new profile for testing purposes - maybe it's just one of those settings & customizations that is causing the site to break...

Created a new profile and did the search. Same results. Portions of links are not properly available as links, and not displayed at all when the text is highlighted. Got any other ideas?

I assume that you hadn't made changes to the new profile?

Can you attach a screenshot of that Bing page?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

I made zero changes. The screenshot is 5 posts above this one. Here it is attached.

Where is the blue background coming from?

Did you select the text or did you made changes to background colors, either in the Firefox setting or in the Windows settings?

Thanks for trying to help.

Do you see the links in the page source if you select that area with the mouse and select View Selection Source in the right-click context menu?

more options

Yes, without issue, and I'll add that this problem does not occur in old IE6 and whatever chrome's latest version is, for whatever that's worth.

I the text is in the page source then it is most likely a font issue?

Try this extension to see which fonts are used for selected text.

more options

Wouldn't a font issue affect other browsers, and not just Firefox?

Results: Arial, Arial Bold, Cambria Math.

I have this same problem. I can get to some of them by going to the CACHED site but thats lame. This may have started when my FF was upgraded. I think it was forced on me??? I have been trying to stay away from the newer style and all of a sudden bam I got upgraded. I'm guessing that is when this started. :(

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I still have this problem with the 13.0.1 version. :(

I'm having the exact same problem, 100% the same. Hopefully we can have an update soon - this is basically rendering Bing useless for me.

Search results are unclickable, the whole first part of the row when you mouse-over gives you the text selection cursor. However if the row goes far to the right the end of the row shows the link cursor - in which case you can click on that area. (As is seen on the 4th row of the OP's screenshot where it's not fully blanked out upon highlighting.)

FF is fully updated, and bing works fine for me on IE8 and other platforms.
