I get voice mails via email. They are delivered with subject line "Voice message" and come with a audio file attachment. I have repeatedly marked them not junk only to watch the email get moved to inbox, then almost immediately moved back to the junk folder. Repeatedly. Same when i just move them to inbox manually. I have set up filters (3) to have these emails put in my inbox, but they are put in junk folder anyway, and then of course I can't move them to inbox either, they won't stay there.

That sounds like a yahoo imap mail account. What service are you using?

more options

IMAP with Inmotionhosting.

Looking at the information on the inmotion web site it looks like they use spam assassin. have you checked the mails is not being flagged by that?

Have you added the sender address to your personal address book? Thunderbird junk filter will respect any address in your personal address book as not being "unwanted"

Yes they use spam assassin but un-enabled that, same result. Checked, and email add was already in my personal address book. Thanks for helping.
