Turning off Hardware Acceleration did not fix. I disabled all Add-ons then enabled them seriatum. Problem recurred when I enable TabGroup Manager 2011.11.28.1.

Hello RRWashDC, I will need more information to solve your problem. I think that this is an issue with your operating system. Could you please tell me what OS you are using and what version of Firefox you are running?

Although Safe Mode fixes the problem, I need to be able to use some of the Add-ons that I have installed (Tab Groups and Adobe page converter). Suggestions?

If you have no problem inStart Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} then it could be one of your add-ons, or Hardware Acceleration.

Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar.. Then Tools > Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Then restart.

If there is still a problem, then we move on to your add-ons.

The problem with not being able to move (reposition) your Firefox window might lie it the Theme you have chosen. Try going back to the Appearance tab under Add-Ons and switch back to the "Default" theme and the problem goes away. There are some very nice themes out there but some of them will not allow the Window to move.
