Hi. I did a clean install of Windows 11 yesterday. I reinstalled Firefox with the TreeStyletabs addon. I had saved the old sessionstore files so I thought it would be easy to get my tabs back.

Two things happens.

1) If I copy over a sessionstore.jsonlz4 to the profilefolder, it gets overwritten byt FireFox when I start the browser. 2) If I don't do that and instead click History and then Restore Previous Session Firefox will use the previousjsonlz4 and restore my tabs . But I have to do it everytime I start Firefox. It does 'remember' what I did.

How can I fix this?

I can not access duck duck go from the firefox web browser version 133.0.3 either by typing it as an address in the bar nor by using it as the default search engine in settings. Google and you tube are blocked on our network by a firewall. Duck Duck go used to work, but at some point stopped. This is on mulptiple PC's and Chromebooks.

I see the following sites show up on the firewall's blocked list when I startup Firefox Desktop: (See Attached photo)

When I type in www.duckduckgo.com on the address bar I get a "server not found" error. If I search for any search query in the address bar with duck duck go set as the default search engine, I get a server not found error.

I can use an apple phone device with safari browser and cell data turned off to access duck duck go's website and complete searches while connected to our network.

I can browse yahoo.com and complete searches with no problem.

Some time back, I let Firefox install an update. Uninstalled it a short time later cause I was getting flooded with ads. Happened again. Tried to ignore it and not install it but it was like my computer was taken over by Microsoft, couldn't do anything. One window had something about Trojan something couldn't read it windows were overlapping. One said I needed to allow the Firefox update or they would freeze up my computer. I couldn't do anything so used the task manager to kill it all. Then allowed Firefox to update. Now have all the ads again. Also, in Firefox settings, something new. Top of page, message says: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." Click on it and see this:

Active Policy Name Policy Value Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots true

My personal computer, no idea where this is coming from or what it means. Anyone tell me what's going on. Had some problems with PC Matic a while ago (not virus or anything), just decided I needed a change. When I tried to uninstall it, it was a real mess. Totally locked me out of one of my other computers.

Thought this one was OK. The other one will now boot but will not make it through a restart unless I skip the part of the restart that does malware checks
