I have been hacked, how can I help this from happening again?
On Christmas day I was hacked. My contacts each received a bogus email purporting to be from me. I have now created a new Email address on a different site. How can I clear up the hacked mess? I had all my Emails going into that main one that was hacked.
Is there any way to keep this from happening again? A blocker? A new tab? Anything?
They used a large variety of things from Canadian Rx to Work at home stuff. I could use some help.

Please follow all of the universally recognized rules of safe computing, and youwill be good. Keep Windows and all applications up to date, stay away from cheesy websites, no piracy, etc etc etc Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
