I have installed thunderbird so I can get rid of outlook. It has been a ridiculously complex endeavor from the beginning. I had to uninstall and reinstall 3 times before I finally got the calendar to function. Now I cannot do a simple thing like get my address book from outlook into thunderbird. I can find no mab files in the thunderbird profiles (and yes, hidden files is turned on). I have my outlook contacts in an excel sheet, but I cannot copy and paste the list into thunderbird. If I do a new list in thunderbird, the column from excel all pastes into the first line of the new list separated by commas. How do I get each address to paste to the next line in the new list?

There is no help there. I've tried many times to import my outlook mail and address book but it simple does not work. After already reinstalling thunderbird three times (it was a nightmare getting it set up every time), I am simply not doing that again. I finally got it working with the calendar. The calendar should have been working when I initially installed thunderbird, but no, you have to jump through hoops to get it to work.
