How can I find my bookmarks?
I have had to reinstall Firefox after a system restore on my lap top and can't find my bookmarks. I note I have two profiles but I can;t find my bookmarks in either. Hope someone can help. Getting frustrated. Is there any way I can chat or talk to someone in support?
Chosen solution
I actually had to do a restart of my computer and when I went back in the bookmarks were there. thanks anyway. Lesley

Did you open Firefox to those profiles?
Firefox automatically makes backups of the
bookmarks. These are stored in the
bookmarkbackups folder.
Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Restore. From the list, pick the file you want and click it.
The backups are stored in a jsonlz4 file named something like this; bookmarks-2016-06-29_1424_enD1GTH ya0JmicnYWg4V4g==.jsonlz4
In this example; 2016-06-29 = date created, 1424 = number of entries.

Note that the main Firefox profile folder is in "AppData\Roaming".
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
It is best to do a full backup of important data when you do a system restore because Windows doesn't tell what files will be replaced or removed and a system restore includes some file extensions used by Firefox.

That was very good work. Well done.
Sometimes a system restart works wonders.
