Each evening i put my PC to sleep......Firefox is open and several tabs are usually open. In the morning when i awaken the PC the Firefox tabs won't open....they also won't reload. I have tried closing Firefox and re-opening it again.....doesn't work....tabs don't open....the little arrow goes left to right. The only solution i have found is to close Firefox and restart the PC. Once restarted Firefox tabs usually open. It is a pain to have to restart the PC every time as you can imagine Can you please look into this Thanks!

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Windows 10 To run the DISM command use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu, then select Command Prompt (Admin). Type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" (without quotes or copy/paste) and press Enter. Goes online for new files from MS. Reboot After.

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.3 with a Full Version Installer

Thank you for responding to my request for help. I followed your instructions and unfortunately my problem still exists. I have installed the latest version 57.0.4. I am sure you will understand i need a working browser to do my job. I have had to download Google Chrome and imported my bookmarks from Firefox. I have also installed my add ons to Chrome. I would very much like to continue using Firefox as my default browser. Please let me know if you have a fix
