Hello,

I was about to switch to new Firefox from Chrome, but I am unable to create an account or login to Firefox sync due to error that says that "Cookies and local storage are required"

I am pretty computer-savvy and enabling cookies is very simple for me, however, no matter what I do (set cookies enabled, third party cookies enabled, third party cookies kept until they expire, add site to whitelist, etc. Even tried running Firefox as an administrator) the message still appears:

Cookies and local storage are required

Cookies are still disabled

So this must be some kind of a bug on your side.

Solved the problem by fully uninstalling Firefox and doing a fresh install with all settings reset to default. I guess the problem was somewhere in the upgrade process. All good now.

I also tried clearing cookies, cache and all data. Didn't help.

Which part of my post(s) you didn't understand? Tried all of that, it's not rocket science. I even posted screenshots.

I have done what could be done on my side (Google search), found the link you posted and a few others, tried it all and it didn't help. Here's another screen.
