How do I delete the "Other Bookmarks" folder, just below "Bookmarks Toolbar", in Firefox?

I certainly don't recall creating this folder and was unable to delete it even when in "Show All Bookmarks." This folder created itself and stores whatever bookmarks IT desires. I was able to empty this folder but was still unable to delete it. Since it has a mind of its own and populates itself with bookmarks it chooses, I have to envision that this will continue to be a problem. When I right click ANY other folder while in "Show All Bookmarks" I am offered the option to "Delete". Funny how the only one I wish to delete I am unable to do so. Can anyone help me here? Will uninstalling/reinstalling get rid of this folder? I don't like my computer, or browser, telling me what to do.

Hi

You can't delete any of the three built-in bookmark root folders that appear under All Bookmarks (Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, Other Bookmarks). The "Other Bookmarks" folder stores bookmarks that you create by clicking the star on the Navigation Toolbar. If you use "Bookmark This Page" then the bookmark is created in the Bookmarks Menu folder.

The Classic Theme Restorer extension has a setting in General UI page to hide this item.
