for some time now, my twitter buttons in firefox show up in Arabic. I'm running Ubunntu LTS version up to date, Firefox 36 up to date, no add ins, virus checked often. The stream is still in english ( or the language of a particular follow), but buttons, Home Discover, favotite etc are in Arabic? So I guess I need help fixing this or to find someone to teach me arabic. ( Haven't noticed this problem on any other websites although youtube restarts video when exiting fullscreen) Thanks for any help

If you click on View -> Character Encoding what does it show? It should have a check next to UTF-8 for the Twitter website.

Could not find UTF8 but simply going from unicode to western and back solved it. Thanks
