I don't understand your issue. After clicking the 'new contact' button and filling in the fields, there is a save button to click. The same applies for existing contacts. Clicking 'edit' allows you to change information and then click the save button. If I am misunderstanding, please let me know so I can assist.

I see the red delete button on trying to save changes to existing contacts and nothing on new contacts.
