no change after install of "Theme and Font size changer" add-on
After following instructions twice I am stumped. Trying to install "Theme and Font size changer". Search, select install, restart TB. No change, no button, nothing in tools menu. All help is appreciated.

Did you install the version for TB?

To install, drag the green Download Now button and drop it onto Tools/Add-ons/Extensions in TB.
Lots of threads on Theme and Font changer today. Not sure if compatibility issue or what. The add-on states it works up to version 59.
The add-on is indeed not working in TB 52.5.2, but if you're willing to follow the instructions here, that will serve as a stopgap (same solution for Firefox and TB) until the add-on is fixed.

That does not work. Shows it could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.

Regarding DL button, I think the site is a little wonky for add-ons that work for both firefox and Thunderbird.
For Thunderbird use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer-for-tb/
Those of you that are unhappy about the expiration of the addon should email [email protected] to contact the "Support Email" for https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer-for-tb/

Sorry. Still no joy....

It doesn't much matter whether you see a DL link on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer-for-tb/ or not - what's there isn't useful until the author puts up a new version. And Thunderbird will notify you when it's there anyway, so DL link isn't absolutely necessary.

The workaround suggested by mrx2020 is tested and working here in TB 52.5.2:
1. Download addon .xpi file (google for instructions) 2. unzip .xpi file (xpi is simply a zip archive) 3. locate file bootstrap.js in the archive, open in text editor 4. look for the code like this: compile:function(){ if((build+).length != 10) Services.prompt.alert(null, 'CompileAddon', 'An error occured'); if(new Date().getTime() > ((build+).length == 10 ? build*1000 : build)+(3*30*24*60*60*1000)) return false; return true; } 5. Comment out (//) or delete line that begins with "if(new Date().getTime..." 6. Zip the archive back (make sure to zip from inside the xpi directory, so that there is no additional path to files). Rename resulting zip file into something.xpi 7. Manually install the new addon file into Thunderbird
Thank you, "sfhowes" ...
If you need the experts to market ice in the Arctic in the middle of the winter, resolve conflicts at board levels, address corporate governance or regulatory issues, turn out 300 pages on ... you get it, I may be your guy.
Writing, editing code et all, perhaps you are my guy/lady.
Rather drive the thing at 200 mph on a track then even consider figuring out how THAT internal combustion engine "really" works.
Maybe the thing will resolve courtesy of the author.
Hello
On another post about the same problem:

Zenos gave a solution where you install a folder called "chrome" with a css file in it.
This solution worked for me!
