Firefox 5.0.1 once closed, did not want to unload itself from memory along with a bunch of plugins - Had to End Process Tree from Task Manager
Firefox 5.0 and then 5.0.1 , when closed regularly, did not seem to unload itself and a bunch of plug-in containers from memory. I had to go into Task Manager and End Process Tree to clean it out completely. I am using Windows XP SP3

You may need to try Firefox Safe Mode (diagnostic mode). If everything works in Safe Mode, then it is probably being caused by an Add-on (Extension, Plug-in, etc).
