Firefox's [[profiles]] are stored in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles on Windows, regardless of version.

But there are two 'default' profile folders..btu Ithink another user has pointed me in right direction

I think that may solve my problem.. will try it and see what happens
