I accidently hid the bookmark tab on the menu bar. I can get the bookmarks to come up on the side bar, but I don't see "add to my bookmarks" choice. I just want it back the way it was before.

Do you have the Delicious extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)?
If you have then look at the bottom of the Delicious menu.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Right click on the empty space of any other toolbar (e.g. Menu Bar) and a little menu appears. Click on Bookmarks Tooblar to enable the toolbar you're missing.

This isn't the same as returning the word bookmark onto the menu bar. The prompts or choice to add a bookmark is not the same.

I want the word "bookmarks" back next to the words "tools" and "help" on the menu bar, not a whole new tool bar.
