How can I get my calendar back after update to Thunderbird 38.3.0? SOLVED: remove calendar addon, and reinstall from addons.mozilla.org

Can you get to tools | Addons | extensions? If you can, remove the calendar addon, restart thunderbird, then reinstall the addon (removing the addon will not remove your data)

Does your calendar return?
