Maryland Public Television says they made some changes and your browser may need to be refreshed.

Firefox displays the schedule page in an form that is not useful or intelligible. Google and Internet Explorer display the page just as it was prior to 4/15.

Is there anything I can do?

Site seems very slow to load (external content from pbs.org) but does eventually lay out data for 3 channels.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

The page seems alright for me, and I have no idea what the cause of the problem is without a screenshot of what the page looks like for you. This article tells you how to take a screenshot and upload it.

In the meantime, you can try deleting your cookies and cache (although I doubt this will help) and/or try using safe mode to see if (and which) extensions are causing the problem.

There are other things that need your attention.

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  • Shockwave Flash 13.0 r0
  • Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.
