how can I get google toolbar to load? FF 5.0 won't allow it.
I try to download the Google toolbar. It goes through the motions then states that it's not compatible with Firefox 5.0

Google dropped support of the Google Toolbar in Firefox 5 and above, because as Google indicates it is not needed. Google Chrome does not have a Google Toolbar.
The Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and up, you may be able to get what you want from it for a limited time, the directions to install the Google Toolbar were posted before Google actually announced dropping support.
