Failing that, our developers will need to look into this in more detail with some logs from inside your copy of Firefox for Android. Type about:crashes in the address bar which will display information about recent crashes. If you select the most recent "Socorro" link, a crash report will open in a new tab. If you could copy and paste the address of the page that opens into a reply to this thread, we will be able to look into this further for you.

Both android and firefox are latest versions. Closing all tabs, with 1 remaining tab open yields the same result and does not reduce the indcidence of a crash. I have tried both clear cache and clear data but it was meaningless. It also does not generate any crash reports since it crashes android system/ui.

Okay, i have done a reinstallation of the app after trying with clear data. Even after the clean installation, its still crashing android. Edit Android version 12 Firefox version 119.1.1

What other apps have you installed on your Android device?

Are you installing Firefox for Android from the Google Play store?

Quite a lot of apps, should be around 50. Yes, the firefox app is from google playstore. I'm sorry for the late response.
