Still no Quantum add-on to search for bookmark folder by name?
Practically ever since Ff was born I have created folders for my bookmarks. What is the use of this facility if you can't search All Bookmarks or anywhere else for folders by name? I have far too many to sort by name and I go by their position in the bookmark toolbar, always supposing that I remember it! I'm far too old to start using tags, and would have to tag vast numbers of existing bookmarks, wouldn't I?

Which bookmark search add-ons have you tried? Their authors often add new features on request, so you could request that for the one you like the best.
Seperate issue :
Your system details show that you need to update your Adobe Flash Player. You're running an old version, which can cause problems.
Would you please uninstall your current version and install the latest version, which is 29.0.0.140

@Jscher, I remember you from your previous advice, for which thanks again. You ask which bookmark search add-ons I have tried, and i can't try any for Quantum because I have never been able to find any, though I have never tired of looking. What I would like to be able to ask an author for is a relevant add-on, not a feature of an existing one, and Quantum erased all trace of add-ons i had previously been using, so I have no idea who to ask!
@Murphy, thank you for telling me I still have the infernal Acrobat lurking somewhere. I thought I had uninstalled it, and will certainly do so. Please tell me I don't need it. I use Foxit now, and that's not quite such a time-waster.

That was not about Acrobat (for PDFs), it was about the Flash player plugin (for SWFs).
