I just switched to firefox 4 and I don't like it. Can I switch back to what I had before, and how do I do this. I am pretty bad on computers...

I am terrible with computers... I just "downloaded" Firefox 4 and I don't like it. How can I go back to what I had before, which, I assume, would have been Firefox 3? Thanks

If you do not like the new appearance of Firefox 4 then you can change some setting to restore the Firefox 3 appearance.

You can right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.

  • Click the Menu Bar entry to make the Menu Bar visible.
  • Click "Tabs on Top" to remove the check mark and place the Tab Bar at its original position just above the browser window.

Thanks so much for the response. I told my husband that I hated it and he was able to somehow delete it and reinstall whatever version of 3 I had. I am much happier now....I resist change. He did, however, inform me that not everyone likes the new and improved 4.
