With the new Windows update (and FireFox, too?) the custom changes I made a few months ago to resolve the drop down menu spacing issues no longer work. I've got double-spaced menus, AGAIN, which might be awesome for small touch screens but *completely suck* for PCs.

Any clue how to change the "new and improved" version so it's PC user friendly, again???

BTW - the tabs at the top are back to floating, again, too.

I looked at proton - true and false - but there was no change. Proton was still set to false and the tabs still float & the menus are double-spaced either way ...

Only thing that still works is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compact-mode-workaround-firefox We can only cry and hate mozilla for now, no easy way to submit ideas anyway.

Hi

The configuration preferance that you changed was due to be removed in this update and was only in place in Firefox 89 for testing purposes.

I knew they were temporary - but you'd think they would have come up with an alternative by now for the PC users. Not everyone does everything on their phone ... :-<

The mobile versions of Firefox look very different to the desktop version you are using.
