delete firefox and start over

when I delete firefox and redownload and open it puts every firefox program on my desktop. I was doing a firefox reset and another program shut me down then firefox could not find profile. I deleted all reg entries and firefox will not open as before. how do I get it back? How do I get my computer to get rid of every trace of firefox.

hello ebjo, press the windowsbutoon+R and open: %appdata%\Mozilla in there rename or delete the firefox folder & hopefully firefox will launch again fresh the next time you start it...

Did all that. I need an answer to my last line. Deleted reg entries, firefox itself and all folders. Why does a new download put all firefox folders on my desk top? I need an answer from a firefox engineer.
