My saved sub-folders have not migrated over from mail.com
Hi, I recently downloaded Thunderbird to have a decent email system. I have 4 email addresses. 2 for my website, and 2 personal. My main personal one when I am in mail.com has several sub-folders going off the main inbox. They have not all migrated over, and I need them. Can you please help? Thanks, Katie

Is it an IMAP account you have created in Thunderbird?
Im not sure Matt, Im pretty useless at all this stuff. Possibly yeah?
Possibly Nah, as POP mail accounts get inbox only and imap accounts get folders it is actually pretty important.
Tools menu (Alt+T) > account settings and click on your accounts name (above server settings) the first this on the right pane is the account type.
Hi Matt,
I have looked and I am sorry but I cannot figure it out. When I go into account settings I cannot see account type.

I think it's under "Server Settings"'.
Modified
Sorry for the delay, it is an imap account. I am stillls stuck.

Are these missing sub-folders visible in webmail at mail.com?
Yes the folders are visible in my mail.com account.
When you add the account the mail should be downloading from the IMAP server. I would try removing the account then adding it again to see if that works.

I have sorted it now, thank you for your help. Katie
