How can I check what is being loaded on my computer with my browser Firefox when I start up Firefox. It takes too long for my homepage to load compared to other browsers. Can someone help so I can determine what is being loaded when I start up my browser Firefox? Thank you.

My favorites are Autoruns and Process Explorer.

Did you the same load time issue with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode?

You can have Process Explorer open, then open Firefox and you will see all process under it. Within Firefox you can put about:processes in the address bar to see what's running.

Hi jonzn4SUSE,

Thank you for the reply. When I open "about:processes" I see many many things that are apparently running. But, I don't know what is needed and what is not? Yes, the problem is a problem with Firefox in safe mode. So, that is not a issue. You mention Autoruns. but it seems Autoruns is Windows based? I don't have a slow start up issue with other browsers. So it appears a Windows problem is not present? Frankly not sure. I'm not a computer wiz, jonzn4SESE. What things within the "process manager" window can I delete to maybe speed things up? Can you explain? Appreciate your help, jonz4SUSE.
