no, firefox is not
Doesn't solve my problem. Everytime I go to search it automatically goes to Google. Do I need a different phone? I have Google blocked but.....
Google is the default for basically everything, and its also most used search engine. Also, you can change your search engine. If you TRULY want it gone, that would need Nightly.
Where can I get nightly
Hi
You do not need to use the Nightly version of Firefox for Android to change your default search provider.
This support article should help:

Now I'm in a foreign language and don't know how to get back to English
It does appear that you ae using a version of Firefox for Android that is no longer supported.
You may wish to consider using the latest version available from the Google Play store.
I won't use google ANYTHING.....
Okay, but please appreciate that the version that you are using has been unsupported for almost two years and is missing important security and stability updates.
