I've checked other replies to this question but I seem to be having difficulty. My Mac is running 11.6.5 of the OS and version 91.8.1 (64-bit) of Thunderbird. I located the Thunderbird folder on the Mac and copied over my network onto the PC (Downloads folder to start with). The PC is running version 10.0.19043.1645.

I've then gone into C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming and copied and pasted the Thunderbird folder from Downloads into there. Everything transfers successfully. I've gone into C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\n8bomz85.default and deleted the pkcs11.txt file as posted elsewhere

When I open Thunderbird (91.8.1 on Windows) I'm prompted to setup a new email account. From what I've read, opening up should take me straight into my mail that is currently sitting on my Mac. I'm clearly doing something wrong - can anyone help please?

Find out which profile (folder) Thunderbird is launching, because it's definitely not launching the one you copied over. In Thunderbird's menu, go to Help → More Troubleshooting Information. Under Application Basics, click the about:profiles link at the bottom of that table. In the About Profiles tab (this is Tbird's inbuilt Profile Manager UI). You should be able to tell which profile Thunderbird is currently using. If the profile (folder) you copied over is also listed, launch it using the Launch Profile button. It should load in a new Thunderbird instance/window. You can then set it as the default profile so that Thunderbird automatically uses it when it starts.
