Web site options don't work with Firefox.
I'm trying to use https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/.
when I save the bookmark I get https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/?sat=goes-17&z=0&im=12&ts=1&st=0&et=0&speed=130&motion=loop&map=1&lat=0&opacity%5B0%5D=1&hidden%5B0%5D=0&pause=0&slider=-1&hide_controls=0&mouse_draw=0&follow_feature=0&follow_hide=0&s=rammb-slider&sec=full_disk&p%5B0%5D=geocolor&x=10848&y=10848.
When I use this link I cannot "find" anything but GEOS-16. If I go to just https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/ then I can get the other satellites.
Why is this?
Things work either way with Chrome.
How can I edit the bookmark to remove the superfluous data?

You can alternatively click the highlighted star and edit the location (URL) field to remove possible appended GET data from the link.

It's not what you did, its the way the webpage is set up.
Right-click on; https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/ and select Bookmark This Link.
If I right-click on your link in the message, I can save the bookmark. If I'm on the address line and right-click the portion of the url that I want then I get the "Undo, Cut, Copy..." menu, not the "Save the Bookmark" menu. ???
Just follow my instruction using my link.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for.
I doesn't seem to work. The edited field is the name which appears in the tab, not the url. If I change the url then there is no way to save it.
I found, however, that if I display the properties of the bookmark (through the bookmark icon next to the "show sidebars" icon) then I may change the url and save it.
Thanks to everyone who responded.
One page on my website doesn't work with Firefox, but does work with other browsers. In Firefox, the list of linked Updates is missing, and only the banner shows. But, in Edge, the list and the ability to access the Updates is there.
How can I fix this?
This happens for me when Tracking Protection is enabled on your page.
Firefox shows an highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection
You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
Thanks for the idea. I tried it, and the protection was indeed turned on. But, even after I turned it off, it still won't show.
Any other ideas?
Do you have other content blocking extensions ?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
OK, I will try that. I'm not a developer, just the owner of the website, so hope I'm able to manage it! Just reading the directions is baffling to me.
BTW, should I turn the protection back on? It was purple, which I guess means it was protecting me from attacks?
