I upgraded to Firefox Version from 52 to 53. IBM Trusteer icon that was fine with version 52 now does not show on new version 53!

hi, IBM doesn't support firefox 53 yet - you'd have to contact their support to inquire what's the timeframe when this might change: https://www.trusteer.com/support/supported-platforms
You can consider to use the portable Firefox 52.1.0 ESR version for cases like this.
You can install a portable ESR Firefox version to access websites that do not work with the current Firefox release. The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.
I contacted Trusteer yesterday for an update on this as I have been doing since it failed to work with the installation of Firefox v53. They sent me a link for the latest version of Trusteer 1804.112 which appears to work. Have others had success with this?
Sounds good if they have now updated the software to work with the Firefox Release.
Note however it is now only a couple of weeks before we will be upgrading from Firefox 53 to Fx54
Has anyone tested the new Trusteer with Firefox 54 which is on the Beta channel, or asked Trusteer/IBM if they will be ready for supporting Firefox 54 when it Releases ?
- In fact if you use the Developer Edition that by default installs as an additional browser with its own firefox profile and will be Firefox 54 now.

A workaround for Windows users may be to install the third party Fx52esr portable either on your computer or on a memory stick as an additional Firefox Browser and use that only when you need to do banking. Fx52 esr will at least get any critical security fixes backported to it.
What you should avoid doing is using outdated Firefox versions generally for day to day browsing just because Trusteer will not work with up to date secure Firefox versions. If for some reason you consider it essential to use Trusteer all the time then you may need to use an alternative Browser.
- (Do not) Install an older version of Firefox
I contacted IBM support on this issue. It seems to me anyways so easy for Trusteer support to mention that the icon is not a problem with "other browsers" like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. They did mention that Firefox 52 does work but I am not really interested in going back to "an older version" of Firefox. So, question is, why is it that this icon issue does not seem to want to go away with Firefox?? Trusteer is used by a lot of people doing financial transactions on the internet!! How do other browers stay in step with Trusteer?? Is someone playing favaritism??
