deleting multiple default profiles & backup.
There are 5 profiles in my profile folder and all are marked default. They range in size from 12 to 52 mb. On the last 5 start ups it appears that the operating profile is the second one of the 5 with a size of 52.3mb (Found thru Help/troubleshooting/show folder). However when I do a back up using MozBackup this back up is 12.1mb in size which is the size of the 1st profile in the profile list. Can I safely delete profiles 1/3/4 and 5 leaving a single which in turn would make the backup the correct one?
Chosen solution
Yes, if you are sure that you no longer need data stored in them then you can delete the folders.
You can check the dates of the files to see when they have been used the last time.

If you've used reset then a new profile gets created.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you no longer need the other not used profiles then you can remove them via the Profile Manager to make sure not to leave orphaned profiles in the PM.

When I open Profile Manager only one default profile is shown. Properties reveal that it is the one mentioned in the OP so the question is, do I just delete the others from the profile folder or? Thanks for your post.
