Where is the "add a device" button now?
This latest version of Firefox Sync is not at all user friendly.
I had to reinstall Windows, so obviously I had to download Firefox again and set up all the sync information. I know how it's supposed to work. Got the three lines of codes and went to enter it on my other computer.
The problem? There is no option to "add a device." I just get another three lines of codes. Thinking, "Oh, they must have changed things. Let me click the 'show me how' button," I did just that. But the help page it takes me to is for the old version of Sync and is completely useless to me. I don't have my original sync key because there is no longer an option to retrieve my sync key from "manage account," since there is no "manage account option."
This is effing ridiculous. If anyone can help me, I would really be grateful.
Oh, and here's a hint, Mozilla: Next time you go and change things, update your help docs as well.

exactly same problem(s) as described above. Trying to set up Firefox sync between windows 7 laptop and new Android device.
- Click "Set Up Firefox Sync" to go to "Firefox Sync Setup"
- Click "I already have a Firefox Sync account" : Connect
- Click "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom

From the original question:
"I don't have my original sync key because there is no longer an option to retrieve my sync key from 'manage account,' since there is no 'manage account option.' "
Again, the help docs have not been updated to the new interface. The question still stands.
