Unwanted windows pop up after an audio announcement. Not blocked by pop-up blocker.
While on the internet I will suddenly hear an announcement concerning winning something, or about a product, followed shortly by a window that pops up over my window. I have pop-ups blocked in my internet options, but this occurs anyway. How can these be stopped?
No tab occurs at the bottom of the screen to let me know a window is coming, so I can't close it until after the audio message plays and the window finally comes up.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
