So I have been using Dependency Walker to profile Firefox and here is what I found looking at the delays:

Hi Fred,

Thanks for helping

I have been trough the help links already.

Starting Windows in safe mode is the only way to get rid of the delay.

I have the same issue with Chrome. IE and Edge have no delay pb.

I have tested my PC for viruses/trojan/rootkit, etc

I have disabled my anti virus (AVG) and all the autorun entries, still the same delay.

I have been looking for some kind of startup log to review in FF but could not find any.

I wonder if the telemetry data could help if any one can make sense of it?

I have also tried multiples version of Firefox: ESR, beta, nightly and 32 /64 bits and deleted/recreated my profile. Still same issue.

It is a combination of your AVG as it is scanning Firefox and connections :

and your VPN

Hi Pkshadow,

Webshield is not installed, as a test I have remove ExpressVPN and AVG, still the same delay.

As I indicated I have also removed all the programs in the Windows autorun section and not changes.

I have done a lot of research in the last few weeks but no solution to this issue.

Does anyone knows if it is possible to get a startup log file in Firefox?
