Hi - I need to install the web development tool add-on AND the React devTools add-on to an offline machine (not connected to the Internet).

I can download the XPI add-on file, but when I install it on the offline machine, it tries to go to the internet.

I'm a web developer using React and I love your browser for my work.

How can I do this? Michael

Chosen solution

How are you installing it?

Preferences -> Addons - > Extentions -> Small gear in the top corner -> "Uncheck update addons auto" then "install addon from local files"

to preventing it from getting reset you might now have to edit the launcher FF icon and add the switch --no-remote so they don't get blacklisted.

Also make sure your e10s electrolysis, Stylo and Direct3D 11 or OpenGL Compositing are enabled in about:support

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
