How does one remove the "Options" icon that protects my privacy and blocks remotr content in the message? Do not want this option, it requires additional click

The following message in listed beneath the toolbars... "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message". The Thunderbird message also contains a icon "Options" which has to be clicked to receive my messages. How does one eliminate this Thunderbird message and option?
