I use Mozilla Thunderbird server for my emails. My contact list is correct eg: [email protected], but when I open address book, highlight radar2 and move it to the email that I am writing, the name doubles up. I have deleted, retyped all the contacts, some work properly, most double up. I use the email address on the email received by clicking on name and use "add to address book'. Even that way the names still double up.

Everything worked properly until last week. Are there changes that I should be aware of or updates that I may have missed while away?

Chosen solution

Drag and drop is currently broken in TB45.

I suggest that for now as a workaround you try typing and autocomplete, or enable the Contacts Sidebar in the write window (F9) and use its Add to… buttons.

Thank you very much. I tried your idea and it works. I will be passing this on. Always good to have on hand for future use. Have a great day!
