Avast is Blocking Installation of uTorrent

I am unable to download/ install uTorrent. When I try to install, Avast comes up with a message stating, ‘Infection Blocked …….” etc. How can I get around the firewall to install this programme? When I go into Avast, there is no option to allow the installation. Any suggestions please?

One possibility is that avast! is opposed to torrenting software. Another possibility is that the download actually truly is contaminated with malware. Can you find another site that might be more reliable?
