I am trying to link my school, (Google Workspace) email to my Thunderbird client, but I am running into issues. I did a little bit of light digging, and then found the settings to enable IMAP and POP3 in gmail. I tried it again, but no dice. I did some more digging, and found a post by google about deprecating support for "Insecure" methods of login that use a username & password. They recommend that I find a "Sign in with google" button instead. I am pretty sure that Thunderbird doesn't use traditional google-session tokens. Is there another way to link my account?
