When I use windows explorer, it stops paging down and scrolls to my mouse pointer
I have a family blog. I click on the button which lets me choose pictures to upload. (and we take a lot of pics) It brings me a windows explorer window (File Upload) and I go to the folder where my pictures are. I click on the scroll bar (near the bottom but note the arrow) so that it pages down. I click again. It scrolls down another page. I click again. It scrolls down another page. I click again and suddenly it decides to take me through many many pages of pictures to where my mouse pointer was located. This may be a purposeful behavior. I could train myself to use PgDn and PgUp buttons instead of mouse, but prefer my mouse. I have not run across this in other browsers so don't think it is a windows or mouse setting, but could be wrong.

Are you using Windows Explorer or Firefox?
If you know the name of the file you want, try entering it one letter at a time in the file box. This should filter the list.
FIrefox, of course. It is when you click on open file to get items to post on the blog. It brings up a windows explorer kind of screen.
Also, I am browsing through pictures to post so I can't narrow by name.
It is just a weird, irritating behavior. I think it is Firefox and not a windows setting or a mouse setting, but could be wrong.
The list can be filtered by name, date, type of file . . . . .
What you can do is this; Use a viewing program outside Firefox. When you find something you want, copy the path+name, then paste it to the input window.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a viewing program.
Here are some;

Yes, I could obviously work a lot harder to do this. Instead I prefer to use the explorer-type window that Firefox brings up to its full extent.
I just want to know if anyone has seen this strange behavior and if there is a setting I can do to change it.
